Scalarons mimicking dark matter in the Hu–Sawicki model of <i>f</i>(<i>R </i>) gravity

In this paper, we conduct a study on the scalar field obtained from $\mathit{f(R)}$ gravity via Weyl transformation of spacetime metric $g_{\mu\nu}$ Jordan frame to Einstein frame. The is as result modification in geometrical part Einstein's equation General Relativity. For Hu-Sawicki model gravity, find effective potential and calculate its mass. Our shows that (also named scalaron) has chameleonic property, i.e.\ scalaron becomes light low-density region while it heavy high-density matter. Then found can be regarded dark matter (DM) candidate since mass quite close ultralight axions, prime DM candidate. Thus behaves DM. Further, evolution with redshift also carried out, which depicts expansion Universe different rates at stages Universe.
